
I was project co-ordinator for a trial which analysed the impact of home EV charging on the electricity grid. I also produced an advisory report on how councils and electricity lines companies can support EV uptake.

Working with people of all ages, community groups and businesses I co-ordinated a display of a ‘low carbon’ Kāpiti Coast in the year 2025 made of Lego to help illustrate how we might meet the challenge of climate change.

In the UK, I developed and helped implement planning policies requiring high standards for insulation and other sustainability measures to be installed in new-build homes and existing homes when they were extended.
Highly commended in the 2006 UK National Energy Efficiency Awards.
